FIELD QC SUPERVISION

Our approach is to satisfy our client's requirment while audting andconducting our services and make sure that all the equipment is in good shape and performing according to the industry standards, before seismic data acquisition is allowed to START on a daily basis.

LAND OPERATIONS DAILY CHECK ROUTINES:

  • Start-Up Technical Audits.
  • Fundamental Ground Force.
  • Average and Peak Force.
  • Average and Peak Phase & Harmonic Distortion.
  • Vibroseis Radio and Hardwire Similarity Test and all Vibroseis Attributes.
  • Land Recording Instrument Daily Test (I/O, Sercel,...).
  • Cable Shop work Supervision of the daily rotation for cables and geophone strings.
  • Land survey pre-plot versus post-plot coordinates.
  • Coordinates conversion parameters check (WGS-84 to Local Datum).
  • Satellite Receivers PDOP, HDOP and VDOP be on specs and Instrument Calibration.
  • Proper SPS files formatting check.
  • Ground Stiffness and Ground Viscosity Attributes.
  • COG (Center of Gravity for the Vibrators daily production).
  • HSE practice
  • Uphole survey check and verify statics calculations.
  • Field QC processing check & generation of 3D Volumes, Brute Stacks and Time Slices for each Swath.
  • QC Check for all the attributes of the BIN (fold of coverage, offset ranges & azimuth distribution).
  • Daily Safety Meetings and Crew Audits.

MARINE OPERATIONS DAILY CHECK ROUTINES:

  • Start-Up Technical Audits.
  • Satellite Receivers PDOP, HDOP and VDOP be on specs.
  • Navigation network accuracy, Digital DGPS, Acoustic and Laser Positioning.
  • Streamer Separation.
  • Marine Recording Instrument Daily Test (I/O MSX or Syntrak ,Sercel Seal ).
  • Air Gun Timing Accuracy.
  • Marine Real Time Binning System.
  • Navigation processing and Seismic field QC processing of the data.
  • Review and discuss the 3D INFILL with Contractor's Party Manager.
  • Proper formatting and accuracy of the UKOOA (P1/90 or P2/91 or P2/94).
  • QC Check for all the attributes of the BIN (fold of coverage, offset ranges & azimuth distribution).
  • HSE practice.
  • Daily Safety Meetings and Crew Audits.
